Final Results
PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – The Kennesaw State men's golf team finished eighth at the Sea Best Invitational at the Dye's Valley Course at TPC Sawgrass.
"I am proud of our comeback today after a tough second round yesterday afternoon," head coach
Bryant Odom said. "We gained a lot of momentum from moving up in the final round and now know some things we can clean up before we head to Puerto Rico next week."
KSU posted a 6-over round of 286 in Tuesday's final round. The Owls finished at 32-over par 872 in the 54-hole event.
Claes Borregaard and
Hugo Lari finished tied for 15
th at 5-over par 215. Borregaard posted a 1-under 69 and Lari fired a 2-over par 72 on Tuesday. They both combined to make 24 pars and four birdies in the final round.
Joshua Todd carded a 3-over par 73 to finish at 12-over par 222.
Shaun Cook rolled in eight pars and one birdie over his final nine holes to shoot a 2-over par 72 and close the tournament at 13-over par 223. Todd tied for 48
th while Cook secured a tie for 55
th.
Kyle Bachkosky (77) tied for 70
th at 19-over par 229.
