PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – The Kennesaw State men's golf team is in 10
th place after 36 holes of the Sea Best Invitational at the Dye's Valley Course on Monday.
KSU carded rounds of 289-297 for a 26-over par total of 586 on the par-70 course.
Hugo Lari paced the Owls with rounds of 66-77 for a 3-over par total of 143. His 4-under par round of 66 consisted of four birdies and 14 pars. Lari is tied for 16
th overall.
Claes Borregaard posted rounds of 72-74 and is tied for 30
th at 6-over par 146.
Borregaard and Lari each made 25 pars in their opening 36 holes.
Joshua Todd opened with a 77 and closed the day with a 72. He is tied for 52nd at 9-over 149. His two-over par 72 was the Owls lowest round of the afternoon.
Shaun Cook is tied for 60
th at 11-over par 151 after rounds of 77 and 74.
Kyle Bachkosky is in 67
th at 12-over par 152.
The Owls will play the final round of the Sea Best Invitational on Tuesday, Jan.30
th. KSU will be paired with Liberty and Florida Atlantic. KSU will tee off from 8:45 – 9:21 a.m.
