The Kennesaw State men's golf team is set to begin the spring portion of the 2023-24 season at the Sea Best Invitational in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.
The tournament is scheduled for January 29-30 with 36 holes to be played on Monday and 18 holes to be played on Tuesday at the Dye's Valley Course at TPC Sawgrass. Saturday's play will begin with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. The final round will start with tee times beginning at 8 a.m. off the first and tenth holes.
The tournament is being hosted by Jacksonville University. The 15-team field features Florida, Louisville, UCF, North Florida and Liberty among others.
KSU will look to continue its strong play from the fall having already collected a trio of team victories at the Allstate Streamsong Invitational, Carolina Cup and Pinetree Intercollegiate. The three team victories are tied for the most wins in season in school history which had been done twice previously in 2010-11 and 2016-17.
KSU is paired with FGCU and Liberty for rounds one and two on Monday.
