BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Members of the Kennesaw State men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Samford Multi Meet and Invitational inside the Birmingham CrossPlex on Friday.
 
Men's Heptathlon (Completed)

• Jordan Fick finished third with a personal-best 5283 points which ranks eighth in program history.
• Fick won the pole vault clearing 4.70m (15'5").
• He finished second in the 60m hurdles (8.45 seconds) and third in the 800m (2:52.24).
• Devin Barnett finished sixth with 4769 points.

Event Winners

• Assistant coach Paris Williams won the men's 60m hurdles with a time of 7.66 seconds.
• Olivia Brown was victorious in the women's 60m hurdles in a time of 8.64 seconds.

 
Men

• Mohamed Diaby posted a time of 7.02 seconds to secure fourth in the 60m.
• Jeremiah Sims (7.95 seconds), Mohamed Diaby (8.08 seconds) and Sean Dyer (8.12 seconds) all advanced to the 60m hurdles final. 
• Anthony Harrison (19.93m | 65'4.75"), Jase Hunter (19.62m | 64'4.5") and Zachary Peterson (19.15m | 62'10") finished second, third and fifth in the weight throw.

 
Women

• Kali Terza (18.83m | 61'9.50"), Eriana Sanford (17.19m | 56'4.75") and Maya Steines (16.55m | 54'3.75") took home third, seventh and ninth in the weight throw.
