BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Six members of the Kennesaw State men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Samford Multi Meet inside the Birmingham CrossPlex on Thursday.
 
Men's Heptathlon (Through Four Events)

• Jordan Fick is in third place with 2855 points.
• Fick placed second in the 60m (7.12 seconds) and the long jump with a mark of (7.00m | 22'11.75")
• His 60m time and long jump rank eighth in program heptathlon history.
• Devin Barnett is in fifth place with 2757 points.
• Barnett placed in the top eight in the first four events contested on Thursday.

 
Women's Pentathlon (Completed)

• Freshman Amelia Coker finished fifth in her first collegiate pentathlon scoring 3466 points.
• Coker won the 60m hurdles in a time of 8.89 seconds.
• She closed the pentathlon finishing third in the 800m with a time of 2:27.50.
• She collected personal-best performances in the 60m, high jump, shot put, indoor 800m and total points on Thursday.
• Laysha Tunti (3082 points), London White (2996 points) and Cadence Huntsinger (2915 points) finished 13^th, 18^th and 21^st respectively.

 
 
 
Next Up
Frick and Barnett will conclude action the Samford Multi and the hurdlers and throwers will compete at Samford Invitational on Jan. 19.
