THIS WEEKEND'S MEET
21 members of the Kennesaw State track and field teams will head to Birmingham, Ala. to participate in the Samford Multis on Thursday and Friday and the Samford Invitational on Friday at the Birmingham CrossPlex.
THE FIELD
The field for the multi meet includes Alabama State, Berry, Kennesaw State, Louisiana, Monetvallo, Northwestern State, Samford, South Alabama, Stephen F. Austin, Troy and UAB.
LAST TEAM INDOOR MEET
The Owls competed at the Clemson Invitational on Jan. 12-113. The Owls set school records, won an event, and had multiple personal-best performances.
NEXT UP
The full KSU teams return to action on Jan. 26-27 at the Bob Pollock Invitational in Clemson, S.C.
NEWS AND NOTES
» The Owls have the top mark in the ASUN in five events on the men's side and four events on the women's side.
» On the men's side,
Simon Seid was named ASUN Men's Field Athlete of the Week,
Malik Hussie earned ASUN Men's Track Athlete of the Week and
Sean Dyer collected ASUN Freshmen of the Week honors. For the women's team,
Madison Seiler was awarded the ASUN Women's Track Athlete of the Week,
Amelia Coker was named ASUN Freshman of the Week and
Kali Terza secured ASUN Field Athlete of the Week honors, the conference announced Wednesday.
