KENNESAW, Ga. – After a successful summer competing within the Cape Cod Baseball League (CCBL), Kennesaw State baseball right-handed pitcher
Blake Aita was named a CCBL Top 100 Prospect, per Perfect Game USA. The Canton, Ga. native came in at No. 41 on the list of top prospects.
Aita finished the summer with 11 appearances for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox. The right-hander totaled 20.2 innings and held a 3.48 ERA. He finished the summer with 22 strikeouts, 11 walks and one save.
During his freshman season at Kennesaw State, Aita was a top arm out of the Owls' bullpen. He appeared in 17 games, all in relief, and tallied 36.0 innings pitched. Aita ended the year with 38 punch outs and held opponents to a .261 batting average.
The right-hander returns to KSU this fall to begin his second year with Kennesaw State baseball.
