Caitlyn Campbell-Nyman exclamated her start to the 2023-24 campaign, securing Atlantic Sun Golfer of the Week honors, the conference office announced Thursday.
The Queensland, Australia native secured a career-low tournament score of 6-under 210 at the Sam Golden Invitational in Corinth, Tex earlier this week.
She was the only ASUN women's golfer to not post an over-par round this week, scoring rounds of 4-under 68, 2-under 70 and even-par 72.
Her 4.33 par-5 scoring average led the Owls and was tied for third among participants.
KSU set new program records for single-round (277) and 36-hole (560) lows at the event for a 7-under 857 finish.
This marks the second weekly honor for Campbell-Nyman with her first coming on Mar. 3, 2022 following an individual victory at the 2022 Rio Verde Invitational.
