Race Preview
The Kennesaw State cross country teams will open the 2023 season in Actworth, Ga. hosting the Stan Sims Cross Country Opener on Friday, Sept. 1.

The Owls will open their 35th season of cross country.

KSU will race against Georgia, Georgia Tech, Emory, Georgia State (women only) and Brewton-Parker.

The men's 5k race is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. The women's 5k race is set to get underway at 7:00 p.m.
 

KSU Team Notes
- The men's team returns three letter winners while the women's team returns eight letter winners from 2022.

- Four men and 10 women are expected to make their KSU cross country debuts Friday. 

- In the annual ASUN preseason cross country coaches' polls, the women's team was picked second while the men were picked eighth.

- The women's team was ranked No.13 in the USTFCCCA South Region preseason poll that was released on Aug. 29.
