Bryant Odom announced the 2023-24 Kennesaw State men's golf schedule on Tuesday.
"We are excited of the opportunities in our schedule to go out west and return to Puerto Rico for the 23-24 season," Odom said. "I've been looking for the right event for us to travel west and Arizona in April is perfect. As we prepare for our move to Conference USA next year, expanding the footprint of our schedule and the KS brand is important. We always enjoy hosting at our home club, Pinetree, and the Linger Longer at Reynolds Lake Oconee continues to be one of the strongest college golf tournaments in the nation. "
The fall season starts at the Allstate Streamsong Invitational hosted by Lipscomb at Streamsong Golf Club in Bowling Green, Fla. Sept. 11-13.
The Owls will play in the J.T. Poston Invitational (Western Carolina) in Sapphire, N.C. Sept. 25-26 and the Carolina Cup (USC Upstate) at Carolina Country Club on Oct. 9-11.
KSU will host the Pinetree Intercollegiate for the 10th time at nearby Pinetree Country Club on Oct. 23-24 before closing out the fall portion of the schedule at the Steelwood Collegiate Invitational at Steelwood Country Club hosted by South Alabama on Oct. 28-29.
The spring schedule commences Jan. 29-30 at the Sea Best Invitational at Dye's Valley at TPC Sawgrass in Ponta Vedra, Fla. The Owls then travel to Puerto Rico for the Palmas Del Mar Collegiate hosted by UNCG Feb. 11-13.
KSU will make a trip to Alabama for the Jason Dufner Tiger Invitational hosted by Auburn at the AU Club on March 11-12.
The Owls will co-host the Linger Longer Invitational with Mercer at the Great Waters Course at Reynolds Lake Oconee March 17-19.
KSU opens April at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic in Chandler, Ariz. at the Cattail Course at the Whirlwind Golf Club at Wild Horse Pass on April 1-2.
The ASUN Conference Championship is slated for April 21-23 at a location that is still to be determined.
The NCAA Regionals are scheduled for May 13-15 with Texas, LSU, North Carolina, San Diego, Stanford and Purdue serving as hosts. Texas will be the host institution for the NCAA Championships slated for May 24-29 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa (Champions Course) in Carlsbad, Calif.
