Women's Golf Reveals 2023-2024 Schedule

KENNESAW, Ga. - Kennesaw State women's golf released its 2023-24 schedule Monday afternoon. 

The Owls will launch the season in Corinth, Texas at the Sam Golden Invitational at Oakmont Country Club on Sept. 11-13.  

They will round out the month in the Golfweek Red Sky Invitational in Avon, Colo. Sept. 25-27. The Owls set numerous program bests in the event last year. Lara Jecnik recorded the lowest single-round score for KSU last season and tied the program single-round low record at 66. 

The first competition of October will be in the midwest in the Dale McNamara Invitational in Tulsa, Okla. Oct. 9-10.

To wrap up the fall, the Owls will make the trek to Honolulu, Hawaii to compete in the Rainbow Wahine Invitational Oct. 23-25. 

Spring time beings in Melbourne, Fla. at Duran Golf Club at the Columbia Classic to kick off the spring schedule. 

The team travels to Rio Verde, Ariz. for the Rio Verde Invite on Feb. 23-25 hosted by Western Michigan. The precedent of success of this tournament has been set by KSU with a second-place finish last year and a tournament win two seasons ago. Jecnik finished tied for fifth in the event with Cameron Neilson finishing tied for 12th last year. 

It's back to the Sunshine State for the second time in under a month as the Owls head down to enemy territory in the UNF Collegiate in Jacksonville, Fla. They will travel and play at Jacksonville Country Club March 4-5. Kennesaw State ended the contest in eighth last season. 

There's no place like home and the Owls have another opportunity to play in the Pinetree Intercollegiate presented by Henssler in Kennesaw, Ga. March 25-26. Last year's event marked a third-place finish for the Black and Gold. 

To finish the regular season slate, head coach Erin Thorne will lead the Owls to the ULM Invitational April 1-2 in Monroe, La. 

To begin the postseason, the ASUN Championship is lated April 14-16 at Hampton Cove in Huntsville, Ala.

The NCAA Regional will take place May 6-8 hosted by Auburn, Washington, Texas, Michigan State, UNLV and Wake Forest. 

Next up, the NCAA Championship will happen May 17-22 in Carlsbad, Cali. at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa.
