JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Kennesaw State track and field teams continued action at the ASUN Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Friday at Hodges Stadium on the campus of the University of North Florida.

School Record
- Eriana Sanford took home the bronze medal in the discus with a mark of 48.13m (157'11) to establish a new program record in the event.
Medal Winners
- Courtney Lawrence won the shot put with a mark of 19.44m (63'9.50"). He was joined on the podium by Tyler Blalock who finished runner-up with a mark of 18.97m (62'3").
- Juan Cavazos II won the men's high jump clearing 2.15m (7'0.5"). Sultan Simms secured the bronze medal with a clearance of 2.12m (6'11.5").
- Kaelen Mitchell collected the gold medal with a leap of 7.41m (24'4.75") in the long jump. Justin Campbell secured second place with a mark of 7.18m (23'6.75")
- Tayla Moreland landed a leap of 5.91m (19'4.75") to grab the bronze medal in the long jump.
