THE START LINE
The Kennesaw State track and field teams are set to compete at the ASUN Conference Outdoor Championships at Visit Jax Track at Hodges Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla. May. 11-13.
The men's team will be looking to collect its 10
th conference title while the women will look to add their fourth to the trophy case.
The meet will start Thursday at 11:30 a.m. with the decathlon 100-meter dash. It will finish Saturday around 7:50 p.m. with the men's 4 x 400 relay.
THE FIELD
Men's Field: Bellarmine, Central Arkansas, Eastern Kentucky, Kennesaw State, Liberty, Lipscomb North Florida and Queens
Women's Field: Austin Peay, Bellarmine, Central Arkansas, Eastern Kentucky, Jacksonville, Jacksonville State, Kennesaw State, Liberty, Lipscomb, North Florida and Queens
LAST TEAM INDOOR MEET
KSU wrapped up the regular season at the East Coast Relays. The Owls won three events, set two school records and had several solid performances in the meet.
NEXT UP
Athletes who rank among the top 48 in their respective event earn a berth into the NCAA East Preliminary Rounds in Jacksonville, Fl. May 24-27. In addition, the best 24 relays times advance to the NCAA preliminaries. Athletes with the top 12 times/marks and the best 12 relay teams at both the East and West Preliminary Rounds sites will qualify for the NCAA Championships in Austin, Texas. The decathlon and heptathlon will not be held during the NCAA Preliminary Rounds. Instead, the top 24 decathlon and heptathlon scores in the nation earn an automatic berth to the NCAA Championship site.

» The Owls have the top marks in the ASUN in nine events on the men's side and six events on the women's side.
» The Owls have 17 athletes ranked in the top 48 in the NCAA East Region this season.
» KSU enters the weekend ranked 10
th (men) and 11
th (women) in the NCAA South Region.

Sarah Hendrick ranks seventh in the 800m in the NCAA with a time of 2:01.93.

Kali Terza ranks 22
nd in the NCAA in the hammer throw with a mark of 64.33m (211'1").
» Isaih Roger ranks 8th in the NCAA in the hammer throw with a mark of 71.14m (233'5").
»
Courtney Lawrence ranks 17th in the NCAA in the shot put this season with a career-best mark of 19.54m (61'4.25").
