LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Kennesaw State men's tennis team claimed a 4-0 first round victory over Austin Peay in round one of the ASUN Tournament on Thursday afternoon.
 
The Owls got off to an early lead after winning the doubles point with victories on lines one from Harvey Conway and Raul Garcia (6-3) and line three from Kevin Patel and Hugo Salmeron. 
 
Hugo Salmeron earned the first singles point when he overpowered Tom Bolton 6-1, 6-1. David Leon took down Thiago Nogueira 6-2, 6-0 to extend Kennesaw State's lead. Raul Garcia would clinch the match for the Owls with his 6-2, 6-1 triumph over Sota Minami. 
 
The Owls will battle No. 4 Bellarmine on Friday,  April 14 in the ASUN Quarterfinals at the Eddie Weber Tennis Complex. First serve is set for 2:30 p.m..
