Final Results
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Kennesaw State men's golf team closed its regular season at the Lewis Chitengwa Memorial at Birdwood Golf Course on Tuesday.
The Owls carded a 6-over par 290 in Tuesday's final round to finish 14
th at 28-over par 880. No. 7 FSU won the event at 41-under par 811.
Claes Borregarrd was the Owls top finisher in the event. He posted a 1-over 72 and finished tied for 32
nd at 1-over par 214 for the event. Borregaard made par on each of his final nine holes. He finished the 54-hole event with 43 pars which ranked first in the field.
Evan Thompson (77) and
Hugo Lari (75) tied for 61
st and 65
th respectively.
Yuya Eguchi carded the Owls low round of the day at even-par 71. Eguchi played his final nine holes in the event at 1-under par. He finished tied for 67
th at 12-over par 225.
Shaun Cook (229) tied for 70
th after a 1-over par round of 72 on Tuesday.
KSU will play in the ASUN Men's Golf Championship on April 25-27 at Magnolia Grove Course in Mobile, Ala.
