AUGUSTA, Ga.- Play was suspended for the Kennesaw State men's golf team during the second round at the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational at Forest Hills Golf Club on Saturday.
Play will resume at 8:15 a.m. with the conclusion of round two and round three to be played immediately after. Play was halted due to weather during the first round.
The Owls carded a 23-over par round of 311 in round one. KSU was 1-under in round two before play was halted.
Claes Borregaard carded a 77 in round one. He is 1-under through nine holes of his second round. Borregaard is tied for 45
th at 4-over par for the tournament.
Yuya Eguchi and
Shaun Cook both opened with rounds of 78. Eguchi is at even-par through 10 holes and Cook is at even-par through 11 holes in the second round. They are tied for 55
th.
Hugo Lari posted a 78 in round one. Lari is 1-over through 11 holes in his second round. He currently is in a tie for 61
st.
Evan Thompson (78) is 5-over through 10 holes of his second round and is in 74
th place.
The Owls will conclude round two and play the final round of the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational on Sunday, April 2.
