KENNESAW, Ga. – Courtney Lawrence was named the Most Outstanding Field Performer and Simon Seid was awarded the Most Outstanding Freshman Performer of the ASUN Men's Indoor Track and Field Championships, the conference announced Thursday.
Lawrence won the shot put with a mark of 18.86m (61'10.5"). His mark of 18.86m ranks third in ASUN Championship history. He finished fifth in the weight throw with a personal-best toss of 18.09m (59'4.25"). This is his first ASUN Most Outstanding Field Performer honor and the ninth time an Owl has taken home this award in program history.
Seid won the pole vault with a personal-best clearance of 5.12m (16' 9.5"). That mark ranks second in KSU program history and third in ASUN Indoor Championship history. Seid is the fifth Owl in program history to secure this award.
