KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State women's tennis team continues its season in Florida as the team takes on Florida Atlantic and Florida International University. The Owls are coming off a four-game homestand and aim to clinch their sixth overall victory.
Match 7: Kennesaw State (5-1) vs. FAU (5-9)

Scouting the Owls
FAU went 13-11 overall and 2-3 in Conference USA last season. The Owls are currently 5-9 overall and 1-0 in their conference. They are returning five players from the 2021-22 season.
Scouting the Panthers
FIU went 17-5 overall and 5-1 in Conference USA last season. The Panthers are currently 6-3 overall and 1-0 in their conference. They are returning two players from the 2021-22 season.
The Series vs FAU
Thursday's match will be the second meeting in history between the two programs. KSU walked away with a tight 4-3 win over FAU in the 2009-10 season.
The Series vs FIU
Saturday's match against the Panthers will be the first match in history between the two programs.
Last Time Out
The Kennesaw State women's tennis team collected their fourth consecutive home-court win against Georgia State securing a 5-2 victory on Feb. 28th.
The Owls started out strong and collected the doubles point over the Panthers.
Kennesaw State continued the momentum securing four points in the singles matches to claim the victory over Georgia State.
Izabelle Perrson obtained the first match point for Kennesaw State by walkover from GSU.
Ji Youn Lee had another dominating performance defeating Michelle Ncube 6-4, 6-1. Sophia Madrid collected the third match point for the Owls defeating Pragnya Kumar 6-3, 6-2.
Sophia Unger secured the last singles match point defeating Maria Paredes 2-6, 6-4, 10-6.
