BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Kennesaw State men's tennis team defeated Keiser 4-3 at Patch Reef Park on Wednesday.
The Owls (7-3) collected the doubles point and won three singles matches to secure the win over the Seahawks.
Seru Tezuka and
Anthony Weingarten def. Gaston Cantero and Shaheed Alam 6-0 on court three in doubles. Â
Harvey Conway and
Raul Garcia downed Heber Santos and Christian Foss 6-4 to clinch the point on court one.
The Seahawks won the first three singles matches to take a 3-1 lead.
David Leon cut in to the lead with a 6-0, 7-5 victory over Martin Carrizo. Â Conway secured a 6-4, 6-3 win over Heber Santos to tie the match at three. Garcia clinched the victory with a 7-5, 6-4 defeat of Shaheed Alam.
KSU will play at FAU Â on Thursday, March 9 at 9:30 a.m.
