KENNESAW, Ga. –
Tyler Blalock was named ASUN Men's Field Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Wednesday.
Blalock won the shot put at the Don McGarey Invitational with a mark of 19.00m (62'4"). That mark ranks tops in the ASUN, tied for fifth in the NCAA East Region and is tied for seventh in the NCAA this season. He finished fifth in the hammer throw with a mark of 54.68m (179'5"). This is his fourth ASUN Outdoor Athlete of the Week award.
Blalock and the Owls will be back in action March 30 – April 1 at the Texas Relays and Bobcat Invitational.
