Opening Tee
The Kennesaw State women's golf is set to take the course for the final road tournament of the 2022-23 regular season Monday, Mar. 27 at the Bab Steffens Invitational hosted by Stetson.
Seven players will be in action in DeBary, Fla. with two participating as individuals.
The Black and Gold enter the tournament ranked No. 71 in the Golfstat rankings. KSU is the higest-ranked team at the event and the only squad inside the top 100.
Four ASUN squads (Jacksonville, Stetson, Bellarmine and Austin Peay) join the Owls at the event.
KSU is coming off an eighth-place finish at the UNF Collegiate earlier this month.
Senior
Bella Kil finished sixth at the event with a 3-under 213 scorecard including back-to-back under-par rounds.
Setting the Pace
With KSU's tied-for-fifth finish at the FAU Paradise Invitational in February, head coach
Erin Thorne's Owls set a program record with an eighth consecutive top-five finish. That mark was extended to nine with the team's second-place finish at the Rio Verde Invitational.
The Owls finished top four in every event during the fall, the most to start a season in program history. The team also set a program record with seven consecutive top-four finishes dating back to the 2021-22 season.
