All games scheduled for Sunday in the inaugural Mike Sansing Classic have been canceled due to the threat of inclement weather. Saturday's set of games remains the same, with UAB and Michigan playing at 12:00 p.m. and UAB and KSU playing at 3:45 p.m.
The Owls won their opening night game against the University of Michigan after
Blake Wehunt tossed 6.1 strong innings to earn his second win of the season. The Kennesaw State offense collected eight hits with two going for extra bases in the contest. The team was led by
Jackson Chirello who was the lone Owl in the multi-hit category. The freshman finished 2-for-4 with two doubles and a run scored.
