Opening Tee
The spring season for the Kennesaw State women's golf team tees off Monday, Feb. 6 at the FAU Paradise Invitational in Boca Raton, Fla.
The two-day event is hosted by Florida Atlantic University and marks the first appearance for the Owls at the tournament.
KSU closed out the fall season with a second-place finish at the Olde Stone Intercollegiate, their third silver medal of the 2022-23 campaign.
The Owls are the third-highest ranked team in the 14-team tournament according to Golfstat, sitting at No. 55 and behind only Vanderbilt (19) and Nebraska (47).
A Rising Fall
Kennesaw State got off to a historic start in the fall 2022 season, finishing top four in every event, three of them being top-two finishes. Four-straight top-four marks is the most in KSU history to open a season and extended the Owls' streak to seven-consecutive such finishes.
Under head coach
Erin Thorne, the Owls have finished top four in 10 of 14 events and top two in seven tournaments. Both are Kennesaw State program records.
