KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State women's tennis team is prepared for its second match of the season as the Owls host UAB on Sunday afternoon. KSU is coming off a strong win against Mercer in the season opener and looks to keep the momentum heading into the weekend.

UAB was 12-11 and 3-2 in Conference USA last season. 
 
The Series
Sunday's match will be the 12th meeting between the two programs. KSU dominated the Blazers, 5-2, last season and look to claim a second-straight victory over the Birmingham foe.
 
The Last Time Out
Kennesaw State women's tennis defeated Mercer, 4-3, in a tight match during their season opener. After the Bears tied the match at 3, it came down to Sofia Pinedo, who was able to clinch the final point for KSU 6-3, 2-6, 7-5. 
 
Next Up
The Owls continue their season on the road as they take on College of Charleston Sunday, February 17th in Charleston, S.C. at 1:00 p.m.
