The Kennesaw State men's tennis team is set to play South Carolina State on Sunday afternoon at the Betty Siegel Courts. Sunday's match will also be an Epilepsy Awareness match to raise awareness for those with epilepsy. The Kennesaw State men's tennis team will be wearing purple shirts to show their support for those who battle with this disorder. Fans attending are encouraged to wear purple along with the team.
Scouting the Bulldogs
South Carolina State is 2-6 this season. The Bulldogs are coming off a 4-3 loss to Georgia Southern on Feb. 20.
The Series
Sunday's match will be the fourth meeting between the two programs. South Carolina State leads the all-time series 2-1. KSU won the last meeting by a score of 4-3 in March of 2018.
The Last Time Out
The Kennesaw State men's tennis team fell 5-2 to Georgia Tech on the Betty Siegel Courts Thursday (Feb. 23).
The Owls (5-1) got off to a hot start winning the doubles point.
Seru Tezuka and
Anthony Weingarten defeated Brandon McKinney and Rohan Sachdev 6-2 on court three.
David Leon and
Hugo Salmeron clinched the point with a 6-3 win over Keshav Chopra and Elias Shokry.
Anthony Weingarten collected the Owls lone win in singles with a 6-4, 6-7 (2-7), 10-3 on court six

The Owls will head to Cookeville, TN. to face Tennessee Tech on Friday, Mar. 3 at 1 p.m. ET.
