From the Service Line
The Kennesaw State men's tennis team is set to host Georgia Tech on Thursday afternoon and Fairfield on Friday afternoon at the Betty Siegel Courts. The Owls are coming off a strong 5-2 win over Georgia Southern and look to continue their win streak. Georgia Tech will be the first Power Five program to play the Owls on the Betty Siegel Courts in program history.  
 
Scouting the Yellow Jackets
Georgia Tech is 7-5 this season. They are coming off a 7-0 win over the Citadel on Sunday. The win snapped a three-match losing skid. The Yellow Jackets are led by Marcus McDaniel who is 10-1 in dual match play this season.
 
Scouting the Stags

Fairfield is 1-4 this season. The Stags lone win came against Fordham on February 11.
 
The Series
Thursday's match will be the sixth meeting between the two programs. Georgia Tech leads the all-time series 5-0. 
Friday's match between the Owls and Stags will be the first between the two programs.

The Last Time Out  
The Kennesaw State men's tennis team clinched a 5-2 victory over Georgia Southern on Monday Feb. 13 at the Betty Siegel Courts. The win was KSU's ninth consecutive at home dating back to last season. KSU came out strong securing the doubles point. David LeonHugo Salmeron collected a 6-4 win on court two, while Seru TezukaAnthony Weingarten dominated on court three with a 6-1 victory.
 
The Owls (5-0) continued their momentum collecting four singles wins to secure the victory over the Eagles. Harvey Conway defeated Aaron Williams with a 6-2, 2-6, 6-3 win, as Raul Garcia followed up with a tight win over Pol del Castillo 3-6, 6-3, 6-1. Anthony Weingarten clinched the match claiming a 3-6, 7-6, (7-4), 6-2, victory over Alexandros Roumpis. It was Weingarten's third consecutive clinch of the season. Seru Tezuka dominated court four defeating Pierre Mouesca 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 to close out the match. Anthony Weingarten clinched the match point for KSU against GSU, claiming a 3-6, 7-6, (7-4), 6-2, victory over Alexandros Roumpis. It was Weingarten's third consecutive clinch of the season. Seru Tezuka dominated court four defeating Pierre Mouesca 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 to close out the match over Georgia Southern.
 
Next Up
The Owls will host South Carolina State on Sunday, Feb. 26 at 3 p.m. for Epilepsy Awareness Day.
