KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State women's tennis team continues its season on the road this weekend as the team has a two-game road trip in Charleston. The Owls are coming off a 4-3 win over UAB and look to extend their win streak with matches against College of Charleston and Charleston Southern.
Match 3: Kennesaw State (2-0) vs. CofC (2-1)
Date: Friday, February 17; 1:00 p.m.

Scouting College of Charleston
The Cougars were 19-7 overall and 7-1 in conference play last season. College of Charleston returned seven out of thirteen players for the 2022-23 season and hold a 2-1 record thus far.
Scouting Charleston Southern
The Buccaneers were 17-6 overall and went undefeated in conference play last season. CSU has seven out of eight players back for the 2022-23 season and holds a 1-3 record on the year.
The Series
Friday's match against the Cougars will be the first contest in series history for the two programs.
Sunday's match between the Owls and Bucs is set to be the 2nd matchup in series history. In the only contest, KSU fell 1-6 to Charleston Southern back in the 2015-16 season.
The Last Time Out
The Kennesaw State women's tennis team clinched a 4-3 victory over UAB as it hosted its second, home, match of the season. It came down to a tight contest between Unger and Pinedo who were each able to garner the victory. Unger claimed a 5-7, 6-3, 6-1 win, and Pinedo clinched a 3-6, 7-6, 7-6 win.
Next Up
The Owls continue their season back home against South Carolina State on Sunday, Feb. 26th at 11:00 a.m.
