KENNESAW, Ga. –
Chance Cross was named ASUN Men's Freshman of the Week for his performance at the Music City Challenge.
He finished eighth in the 200m with a personal-best time of 21.58 seconds at the Music City Challenge. That time ranks third in ASUN this season. Cross was the top freshman finisher in the event and finished ahead of athletes from Penn State, Louisville and North Carolina among others. He also ran a leg on the Owls 4x400m relay team that finished second in 3:12.46. This is his second ASUN Athlete of the Week honor.
Cross and the Owls return to action in Lynchburg, Va. for the ASUN Indoor Championships on Feb. 24-25.
