Final Results
GAINESVILLE, Fla. –The Kennesaw State men's golf team finished play in round two and completed the third and final round of the Gators Invitational Sunday at Mark Bostick Golf Course.
"The conditions were tough today with winds gusting up to 30 miles per hour," head coach
Bryant Odom said. "When you don't have your best stuff, those days can be extra difficult. We saw some bright spots over the two days and look to regroup before Puerto Rico in two weeks."
The Owls recorded an 11-over par 291 in round two and a 25-over 305 in round three to finish 14th at 43-over 883.
Hugo Lari was the Owls top finisher in the event in a tie for 29
th at 7-over par. Lari posted rounds of 75-75 in his final two rounds. He made an eagle, eight pars and two birdies during the final round. The junior recorded 9 birdies and 29 pars in the 54-hole event.
Evan Thompson (71-78) and
Yuya Eguchi (75-72) tied for 51
st at 12-over par 222. Thompson's round of 1-over 71 in round two was his season-low round.
Claes Borregarrd (227) finished tied for 66
th while
Shaun Cook (229) took home 69
th.
