GAINESVILLE, Fla. –The Kennesaw State men's golf team finished the first round but were unable to finish round two before rain and lightning came at the Gators Invitational on Saturday.
Round two is scheduled to resume at 9 a.m. on Sunday morning with the final round to be played immediately following at the Mark Bostick Golf Course.
The Owls carded a 7-over par 287 in round one. KSU is 6-over in round two which is still to be completed.
Hugo Lari posted a 3-under par 67 with five birdies and 11 pars in round one. Lari is 4-over through 15 holes in his second round.
Claes Borregaard opened the spring with a 2-over 72 in round one. The sophomore is 1-under through 12 holes in his second round. He and Lari are tied for 26
th at 1-over par.
Evan Thompson fired a 3-over 73 in round one with 13 pars. Thompson is even through 12 holes in the second round and is tied for 37
th.
Yuya Eguchi (75) and
Shaun Cook (77) are tied for 67
th at 10-over par. Eguchi completed 15 holes while Cook finished 17 holes during the second round.
