2024 Season Ticket Interest Form
KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State football's final season in the FCS was highlighted by an enhanced gameday experience which helped the program set multiple attendance records during the 2023 campaign. Fireworks, a concert, continued traditions, and new experiences were aimed to give fans a fun and memorable experience at each game that resulted in the highest average student attendance and second-best overall attendance in KSU's nine seasons.
For the second-straight year, the #FLIGHT27 runout was a major hit for the incoming KSU freshman class, leading to a student attendance record at Fifth Third Stadium. An impressive 5,415 KSU students packed the stands to watch the Owls earn a 38-7 victory over Tusculum while the freshman class stormed the field with the team prior to the game.
Fireworks, something not done since the first years of the program, lit the skies over Fifth Third Stadium for games one and two of the season to celebrate the return of football. A then-record crowd of 10,108 fans were in attendance for the season opener and fireworks show.
Later in the year, Owl Nation established its current attendance record when 10,436 fans showed up and showed out for the program's annual Homecoming game. This marked the second time an attendance record was set during the 2023 season.
Another memorable moment from the schedule was the postgame concert from Big Boi after the Owls secured a 28-12 victory over Lincoln. The Atlanta native rocked Fifth Third Stadium with his top hits from across the years.
KSU students got an entirely new gameday experience this season with the relocation of the student section to the stage area behind the north endzone. The students also packed the new tailgate area in the yellow lot which provided an elite gameday atmosphere!
The addition of an emcee and "You don't want to go to war" flag also highlighted the enhanced gameday experience for the 2023 season.
During Homecoming and the season finale, a live version of KSU's owl mascot was available for photo opportunities. This marked the first post-COVID visit by a live mascot.
Kennesaw State officially becomes a member of the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) on July 1, 2024, and will compete within Conference USA. In its nine years with a football program, the Owls are 44-9 when playing at home.
