KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State baseball and KSU Athletics are pleased to announce Ned Yost, former manager of the Kansas City Royals, as the special guest speaker for the third-annual Kennesaw State Baseball First Pitch Dinner.
Yost led the Royals to back-to-back World Series appearances in 2014 and 2015, while the 2015 squad won the team's first championship since 1985.
The dinner will be held at NorthStar Church in Kennesaw on Friday, Feb. 2 at 6:00 p.m. Seats are available for $200 per person and private tables (eight person max) are available for $1,400. This year, premium tables at the front of the venue are available for $2,500 and include dinner with one KSU baseball coach.
The dress code that presides is business casual. Doors will open at NorthStar Church's Compass Auditorium at 6:00 p.m., with a meet-and-greet with Yost beginning the night's proceedings.
The event will also feature a silent auction filled with Kennesaw State and MLB memorabilia. All proceeds of the auction and the event will benefit the KSU baseball team.
