ATLANTA - Kennesaw State's softball schedule for its final season as a member of the Atlantic Sun Conference was released by the league office Tuesday afternoon.
The Owls start their final
ASUN conference season on the road with a trek to Richmond, Kentucky to play three games versus Eastern Kentucky March 22-24. KSU holds the hefty 5-1 all-time advantage over the Colonels.
Afterward, the Owls return home to face Jacksonville March 29-30 with two games played Saturday. It marks the first home stand in ASUN play for the black and gold. History is rich with these two squads with the Owls holding a 31-15 record versus the Dolphins.
They will then head down to Jacksonville, Florida to face North Florida April 6-7 with double header action coming on Saturday. The Owls are in search of win number 50 with a 49-24 record versus the Ospreys.
It's a return to Bailey Park as KSU will host Bellarmine April 12-14 in hopes of staying undefeated versus the Knights showcasing eight straight wins.
Continuing the pattern, the black and gold will march to North Alabama April 20-21 with a Saturday double header. The Lions are the ASUN Championship runner ups from the 2023 season. KSU still leads 18-6 over the Lions all-time.
The Owls will then face the defending ASUN Champions as the Central Arkansas Bears come to Kennesaw April 26-28.
Finally, a trip to FGCU will mark the final regular season series in the ASUN May 3-4 with two games played on Friday.
The 2024 Atlantic Sun Baseball Championship begins May 7-11 in Oxford, Ala.
The Owls are set to join Conference USA effective July 1, 2024.
