KENNESAW, Ga. - The Kennesaw State women's tennis team continue their fall schedule this weekend at the ITA Mercer Gridiron Classic tournament. Matches are set to start Friday Oct. 6 and finish play Sunday Oct. 8.

Laura Nadaska, and
Ivana Gresova are scheduled to play in their second tournament of the season. Adding to the tournament roster are all five returnees,
Taylor Dean,
Amulika Gottiparthy,
Sofia Madrid,
Izabelle Persson and
Sophia Unger.

Ins and Outs of Fall Season
Fall tennis consists of individual tournaments, while the team matches occur only in the spring. The Owls will compete in several individual tournaments this fall, including the Mercer Gridiron Classic, ITA Regional, Charleston Southern Hidden Dual, and Stetson Hidden Dual.

Tournament Format
The ITA Mercer Gridiron Classic tournament format features several singles matches (3 full sets, main Draw) and doubles competition (6 game set; tiebreak at 6-all) against the opposing teams. At the end of each round, the winners continue in their tournament in the same direction, while the losers move to other points on the compass to form a new satellite tournament.

The Owls are back in action Oct. 18-Oct. 23 at the ITA Regional Tournament hosted in Gainesville, Fla.
