Owls Sit Seventh After 36 Holes at Steelwood Collegiate Invitational

 – The Kennesaw State men's golf team is in seventh place after the opening 36 holes at the Steelwood Collegiate Invitational.
 
KSU carded rounds of 299-290 for a two-round total of 589 at Steelwood Country Club. No. 12 Alabama leads the field at 8-under par 568.
 
Shaun Cook (71-72) and Hugo Lari (71-72) are tied for ninth at 1-under par 143. Both players made 21 pars and eight birdies during their opening two rounds. Cook is leading the field in Par-3 scoring at 2-under par.
 
Joshua Todd opened with a 3-over 75 and closed with a 1-under 71 and is tied for 20th at 2-over par 146. Todd rolled in 23 pars on Saturday.
 
Hunter Gillard (82-75) is tied for 68th at 13-over par 157.
 
Reed Sweigart is in 77th (166) is in 77th.
 
The Owls will play their final round of the fall portion of the schedule on Sunday, October 29. KSU will be paired with Indiana and Rutgers and tee off the first hole between 8:45 and 9:21 a.m.
