KAPOLEI, Hawaii. – Nyah Kelly continued her hot streak on the course finishing 1-under 71 at the end of day one as the Owls rank ninth in the Rainbow Wahine Invitational.
Kelly finished tied for seventh along with five other golfers. She was the only Owls to finish under par as she was holding in the top spot for most of the day.
Kennesaw State ended the first 18 holes with a +15 score.
SCORECARD:
Bella Kil finished second in the pack for the Owls with a three-over 75 tied for 33
rd.
Alessandra Nagayo ended the day six-over 78.
Caitlyn Campbell-Nyman finished seven-over 79.
Lara Jecnik tallied a 10-over 82.
GOLF CART NOTES:
>> Kennesaw State was dominant on the par 5s today scoring -1 as a team averaging 4.95 strokes placing tied for third
>> KSU also finished third in the field with 12 total birdies

The rest of the tournament will begin at 9 a.m. Hawaii time or 3 p.m. ET Owls with a shotgun start.
