KENNESAW, Ga - The Owls are set to travel to Statesboro, Georgia to compete in the Georgia Southern Fall Shootout this weekend. The team is coming off a strong appearance in the Mercer Gridiron Classic and looks to progress overall in tournament victories. Match play is set to begin Friday Oct. 13 and conclude Sunday Oct. 15.

Izabelle Persson will compete for KSU in singles and doubles.
Tournament Format/ Match Schedule
3-4 matches are planned for each player in singles and doubles. Doubles will begin first each morning at 9 a.m. and will be followed by singles play. Format/singles: Compass draws for singles (8 or 16). Format/Doubles: Compass draws using NCAA D1 rules - one 6-game set, no-ad scoring.
Ins and Outs of Fall Season
Fall tennis consists of individual tournaments, while the team matches occur only in the spring. The Owls will compete in several individual tournaments this fall, including the Georgia Southern Fall Shootout, ITA Regional, Charleston Southern Hidden Dual, and Stetson Hidden Dual.
