Nyah Kelly secured her first-career Atlantic Sun Women's Golfer of the Week award after her display at the Dale McNamara Invitational, the conference announced Thursday.
The Ontario, Canada native made an immediate impact in her season debut, racking up career-best scores through 18 and 36 holes.
She shot a 2-over 74 in the first day followed with a 4-under 68 on day two and wrapped up with a 2-under 70 to place fifth in the 86-player field.
Kelly tallied the lowest total score of any ASUN golfer this week (212) helping the Owls to a 6th place finish.
She tied for 2nd with a -3 score on par 4's and tied for 6th on par 5's with a -2 score.
