Final Results
TULSA, OK- Nyah Kelly and
Lara Jecnik showed the way for the Owls at the Dale MacNamara Invitational with finishes of 5
th and T-15
th, respectively.
The pair of Owls combined to finish the final round 5-under par to help boost the team from seventh to sixth on the leaderboard. Kelly's round started rough with a bogey on her third hole of the day Thanks to a couple of bounce-back birdies and a pair of closing birdies she finished the round with a 2-under 70. The sophomore finished at 4-under par 212. Jecnik was lights out making four birdies, including a stretch of three birdies in four holes to finish with a 3-under par 69. Jecnik finished at 1-over par 217.
Scorecard:
Bella Kil finished the day with a 2-over 74 to shoot 221 in the tournament, which was good enough to finish T-31.
Caitlyn Campbell-Nyman shot 78 to finish with a 231 (+15) for the tournament and tie for 66th.
Sabrina Kim followed up her 79 in round 2 with a bounce-back round of 76 to shoot a 232 to finish T-71.
Golf Cart Notes:
>> The Owls finished T-6 in total birdies in the tournament with 41.
