Final Results
SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Kennesaw State men's golf team clinched its second victory of the fall at the Carolina Cup on Tuesday at the Country Club of Carolina.

Bryant Odom said "The guys gave their very best right to the last hole and fought back all day. It was a sprint to the finish line! This is especially great because this is our second win this fall and it was great to have our best stuff on the final day. We took it one day at a time and moved up the leaderboard each round. We look forward to getting our necessary rest and preparing to defend the nest out at Pinetree later this month!"
The Owls posted a 1-under par round of 287 in the final round for a 54-hole total of 14-over par 878.
Shaun Cook was the Owls top finisher in the event. The sophomore birdied three of his final seven holes to card a 2-under par 70. He finished second at 2-under par 214. His 15 birdies led the field in the 54-hole event. The sophomore has carded rounds at par or better in five of his first nine rounds this season.
"Hats off to Shaun on the top finish," Odom said. "He is inching towards his first individual win. I see it coming soon."
Hugo Lari posted the Owls low round of the day at 3-under par 69. He made five birdies and 12 pars and finished 13
th at 4-over par 220.
Hunter Gillard (76) and
Kyle Bachkosky (72) tied for 19
th at 6-over par 222. Bachkosky made an eagle on the 13
th hole on Tuesday.
Freshman
Joshua Todd (78) finished tied for 56
th at 17-over par 233.
Play as individual, Reid Sweigart tied for 71
st at 22-over par 238.

>> Kennesaw State's win was the 19th team title in program history.
>> KSU led the field with 52 birdies in the 54-hole event.
>> Kennesaw State led the field with a 4.78 par-5 scoring average.
Next Up
KSU will host the Pinetree Intercollegiate on Oct. 23-24 at Pinetree Country Club in Kennesaw, Ga.
