ATLANTA, Ga. – The Kennesaw State women's tennis team was selected to finish fifth in the 2023 ASUN Conference Preseason Coaches Poll, announced Thursday afternoon.
During the 2022 campaign, the Owls finished the regular season ranked sixth in the conference and posted a 14-7 overall record. The women's tennis squad dominated its opponents on the road and secured 10 victories away from home which tied the program record set in 2011.
KSU opens the 2023 season Monday, Jan. 16 at the Betty Siegel Courts against in-state foe, Mercer. The women are set to begin play at noon, with the Owls holding a 7-5 lead in the all-time series.
