 Match Preview 
The Kennesaw State men's tennis team is set to continue their season this weekend on the road. The Owls will face Alabama State on Friday, Jan 20 and Samford on Saturday, Jan 21. First serve is set at 3 p.m. ET on Friday and 2 p.m. ET on Saturday. 
  
Scouting Alabama State 
Alabama State earned a 12-6 record last season and 5-0 in conference competition. The Hornets return five players from the 2021-22 season.  

Scouting Samford  
Samford went 8-14 in 2022 with a 4-3 conference record. The Bulldogs have seven players returning this season from the 2021-22 season. 

The Series 
KSU and Alabama State will meet for the 13th time on Friday. The Owls lead the series 12-0. 

The Owls and the Bulldogs will face off for the third time this Saturday. Samford leads the series 2-1. 

The Last Time Out 
The Kennesaw State men's tennis team picked up a 6-1 win in the season opener over Mercer Monday on the Betty Siegel Courts. The match was the Owls (1-0) seventh consecutive home win dating back to last season. 

Next Up 
The Owls will battle Presbyterian at home at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan 27.
