THIS WEEKEND'S MEET
To begin the 2022-2023 indoor track and field season, the Kennesaw State track and field teams will head to Lexington, Ky. to participate in the Rod McCravy Memorial on Friday and Saturday.
THE FIELD
The field for this weekend's meet includes Kentucky, Alabama State, Butler, Campbellsville, Cumberlands, EKU, Grambling, Howard, Kennesaw State, Life, Midway, NKU, Oakland, Ohio State, Transylvania, Tulane, and Union.
LAST TEAM INDOOR MEET
The KSU men's and women's team took home a runner-up finish at the 2022 ASUN Indoor Championships.
NEXT UP
The combined event athletes will compete at the Samford Multi on Jan. 19-20. The full teams return to action on Jan. 27-28 at the Bob Pollock Invitational in Clemson, S.C.
NEWS AND NOTES
» The men's track and field team returns to the track this season looking to win the indoor and outdoor conference championships. Last year, KSU finished runner-up at both the indoor and outdoor championships.
» The men's team this season features 42 athletes while the women's team features 52 athletes.
» The women's track and field team is in pursuit of its third ASUN indoor and fourth outdoor titles. The women captured the outdoor crown in 2022.
» This offseason the Owls added
Mardy Scales (sprints, long hurdles and relays) to the coaching staff.
