Final Results
SAPPHIRE, N.C. – The Kennesaw State men's golf team finished play at the J.T. Poston Invitational at the Country Club of Sapphire Valley on Tuesday.
KSU carded a 22-over par 306 and finished tied for 12th at 32-over par 884.
Hugo Lari was the Owls top finisher in the event. Lari carded a 3-over par 74 and finished tied for ninth at 1-over par 214. He finished the event with 31 pars and 12 birdies. He led the field in scoring on par 5's at 5-under par.
Shaun Cook closed with pars on six of his final eight holes and shot a 6-over par 77 on Tuesday. He finished tied for 31st at 6-over par 219.
Claes Borregaard (76) and
Lucas Mota (79) finished tied for 73rd and 85th, respectively. Borregaard finished at 14-over par 227 while Mota collected a 15-over par total of 228.
Yuya Eguchi (232) took home a tie for 85th.
Playing as an individual,
Evan Thompson (235) tied for 89th.
Next Up
KSU will head to Spartanburg, S.C. for the Carolina Cup at Carolina Country Club hosted by Wofford.
