Race Preview
The Kennesaw State cross country teams travel to Huntsville, Ala. for the North Alabama Showcase on Friday, Sept.16.

The KSU men and women both opened the season on Friday, September 2 at the KSU vs. Clemson Dual Meet.
  
The list of confirmed teams for Friday's races includes Alabama, Alabama A&M, Alabama State, Alcorn State, Auburn, Austin Peay, Bellarmine, Birmingham-Southern, Bryan, Calhoun CC, Chattanooga, Covenant, Cumberland (Tenn.), Eastern Florida, Eastern Kentucky, Emmanuel (Ga.), Florida Gulf Coast, Gadsden State CC, Georgia, Georgia State, Georgia Tech, Georgia Tech Runnin' Wreck, Jacksonville St., Kennesaw State, Kentucky, Lamar, Lee (Tenn.), Memphis, Miss State, Mississippi College, New Orleans, North Alabama, Queens (N.C.), Running Lane, Samford, South Alabama, South Florida, Southern Indiana, Southern Miss, Troy, UAB, UCF, UNA-Bryan, Unattached,  Wallace State, Western Kentucky and William Carey.

The men's 8k race is scheduled to start at 8:30 a.m. (ET). The women's 5k race is set to get underway at 9:15 a.m. (ET).
 

KSU Team Notes
- The women's team was ranked No.15 in the 2022 NCAA DI Women's Cross Country South Regional Rankings which were released by the USTFCCCA on Monday.

-  13 Owls made their season debuts at the KSU vs. Clemson Dual Meet.

-  Sarah Hendrick, Caroline Timm, Anna Marian Block, Taylor White and Jack Stansell are scheduled to make their season debuts on Friday.
