KENNESAW, Ga. – Head coach
Bryant Odom announced the 2022-23 Kennesaw State men's golf schedule on Wednesday.
"We have an extremely competitive schedule this year with six new events that we have never attended," Odom said. "We will see a lot of Power Five opponents and can be awarded with some higher rankings with solid play. I know the student-athletes are excited about these new opportunities and venues."
The fall season begins at the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate hosted by Louisiana Tech at Squire Creek Country Club in Choudrant, Louisiana Sept. 11-13.
The Owls will play in the J.T. Poston Invitational (Western Carolina) in Sapphire, N.C. Sept. 20-21 and the BMW Carolinas Invitational (Wofford) at Carolina Country Club on Oct. 9-11.
KSU will host the Pinetree Intercollegiate for the ninth time at nearby Pinetree Country Club Oct. 17 and 18 before closing out the fall portion of the schedule at the Grandover Collegiate hosted by UNCG on Oct. 29-30.
The spring schedule commences Feb. 11-12 at the Vystar Gator Invitational hosted by Florida. The Owls then travel to Puerto Rico for the Dorado Beach Collegiate hosted by UNCG Feb. 26-28.
The Owls will co-host the Linger Longer Invitational with Mercer at the Great Waters Course at Reynolds Lake Oconee March 19-21.
KSU opens April at the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational on April 1-2 at Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta, Ga. The Owls close out the regular season on Apr. 10-11 at the Lewis Chitwenga Memorial (Virginia) at Birdwood Golf Club in Charlottesville, Va.
The ASUN Conference Championship is slated for April 23-25 at Magnolia Grove Golf Course in Mobile, Ala.
The NCAA Regionals are scheduled for May 15-17 with Auburn, Clemson, Michigan State, UNLV, Oklahoma and San Jose State serving as hosts. Arizona State will be the host institution for the NCAA Championships slated for May 26-31 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Tempe, Ariz.
