He guided the program during KSU's transition to Division 1 and owned the honor of the second-highest winning percentage of teams who transitioned from Division II to Division I from 2003-2009. KSU produced ASUN Freshman of the Year Andre Morgan (2005-2006), two All-ASUN selections (Ronell Wooten, 2006-2007 and Markeith Cummings, 2009-2010), two ASUN All-Freshman team selections (Kurtis Woods, 2008-2009; Markeith Cummings, 2009-2010), and five ASUN Players of the Week (Markeith Cummings, Jon-Michael Nickerson, Ronell Wooten, Shuan Stegall, and Golden Ingle). Dr. Audrey Morgan stewarded a $5 million dollar gift from the Bailey Foundation in 2021. The gift is the largest contribution to the College of the Arts in its history, as well as one of the largest donations from a single organization to Kennesaw State University. The gift helped establish Honors scholarship endowments across three academic colleges and the Department of Athletics, with additional funding supporting an existing scholarship endowment.

Morgan has a long history of giving at KSU. In 1999 with her late husband, she established the Audrey and Jack Morgan Endowed Scholarship in Music, the largest scholarship endowment fund for KSU music students, with her late husband. In 2017, Morgan established the Audrey Morgan Nursing Scholarship to combat nursing shortages across Georgia. Altogether, she has supported 66 KSU students through her scholarship endowments. Dr. Morgan is the sister of the late Dr. Bobbie Bailey. The family is the largest combined donors ever at Kennesaw State at over $16 million since 1993. She and the Jack Morgan Foundation donated over $125,000 to building athletic complexes in the early 2000s. Currently, Dr. Morgan serves as the Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of the Bobbie Bailey Foundation and is the Vice President and COO of Southernaire Music Company.

Susan Whitlock was KSU's first Senior Woman Administrator (SWA), a role she held from 1992-2006. She was also the SAAC administrator for 20 years from 1992-2011. She compiled a .719 winning percentage with a 46-18 record. Whitlock also served as a women's basketball assistant coach from 1987-89. The Owls went 48-12 and reached the NAIA Bi-District and District rounds. She helped coach Kelly Alsup to honorable mention All-American honors in 1988 and 1989, and Mindi Beaver to the 1988 District Freshman of the Year. A published author, Whitlock was an HPS Instructor and Assistant Professor for 30 years (1987-89, 1992-2020).
