TUCSON, Ariz. – Two weeks after being named the ASUN Conference Freshman of the Year,
Donovan Cash was selected as a Freshman All-American by Collegiate Baseball, announced Wednesday. Cash joins KSU teammate
Josh Hatcher as two Owls that have received All-American accolades thus far.
The Kennesaw State first baseman ended the season with a .357 batting average, good for second on the team. Cash slashed 90 hits with 21 doubles, 10 home runs and a team-high 60 RBI. He finished the year with 31 multi-hit performances and 19 multiple-RBI games, both ranked first on the Owls' offense.
Cash is Kennesaw State's first Freshman All-American since
Nick Hassan in 2020. The first baseman was also selected to the second team All-ASUN and ASUN All-Freshmen team at the conclusion of the regular season.
