KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State men's golf head coach Bryant Odom announced the addition of Yuya Eguchi, who will join the team for the 2022-23 season.

"Yuya is a very talented player that brings a ton of positive energy and a strong work ethic to the program," Odom said. " When he visited KSU and learned about our recent commitments, he couldn't wait to add his name to the list! Yuya fits in perfectly with the incoming class we have worked hard to build for the 2022-23 season. Like our other newcomers, Yuya is fully committed to helping the program continue to move in a positive, forward direction."

Eguchi comes to KSU after playing his first three seasons at Washington State. He played in five tournaments as a freshman with a 75.00 scoring average. He posted a 74.71 scoring average and earned a spot on the 2021 Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll.

Eguchi is a native of Chiba, Japan. He played high school golf at Club Med Academy in Port St. Lucie, Fla., where he graduated in 2019.
