KENNESAW, Ga. – Sarah Hendrick was named ASUN Women's Track Athlete of the Week for her performance at Penn Relays, the conference announced Wednesday.
Hendrick won the collegiate 1500m at Penn Relays with a time of 4:16.68. That time was tops in the ASUN last week. The junior became the second Owl in program history to win an event at Penn Relays, beating runners from Texas, Arkansas, BYU, NC State and Ohio State among others. This marks the fourth consecutive week that she has taken home ASUN Track Athlete of the Week honors.
The Owls will travel to Jacksonville, Fla. for the ASUN Outdoor Championships on May 12-14.
